Parfumelle

Faris Lahoud, Parfumelle's owner, has cultivated a very loyal clientele by giving world class service. He has a selection of perfumes to match their desires, and fills orders promptly. If there's ever a problem, large or small, it doesn't matter; instant money back...and you keep the perfume.

Faris started with POS years ago. It grew, along with his business. In fact, some of the features were the result of his suggestions. Faris believes in knowing his customers. What they want and what they buy. He asked for a feature to report all customers who have bought an item. Then he can notify them when something of interest relates to their tastes.

POS shows the sales history by customer and by item with a single keystroke.

POS can send printing to several printers. One printer can do invoices (using plain paper or preprinted forms). Another can do UPS C.O.D. tags. Another can do mailing labels. The person talking to the customer on the phone and taking the order doesn't even have to think about it. All the paperwork for each order can be printed correctly by the time the call has ended.

He can print a letter to a customer in seconds with the writing feature. Notes about each customer go in the notepad...birthdays and anniversaries, for example.

It's easy to call customers. Press a key and the modem dials and connects. Some call this "contact management" and the good ones list for several hundred dollars.

Faris allows some of his preferred customers to charge sales. The real time accounts receivable handles this with ease. Select the customer, enter the items, and do a sale On Account. The account shows the new balance instantly. The same thing happens when payments are posted. This eliminates one of the most time consuming and error-prone jobs for businesses doing charge sales (accounts receivable).

He gets all the sales reports he needs, for any time period, in a flash. Just select the time with one keystroke, select the report with another. All reports can be displayed and printed.

POS shows the report while it is being created. This reduces waiting significantly.
